[S01E06] Japanese 鬼Shadowing Podcast: Script

去年(きょねん)、最初(さいしょ)は10月(じゅうがつ)からポッドキャストを始(はじ)めようと思(おも)っていたんですけど、引(ひ)っ越(こ)しやしろの病気(びょうき)で忙(いそが)しくて、結局(けっきょく)始(はじ)められませんでした。

引(ひ)っ越(こ)して来(き)てからも、新(あたら)しい環境(かんきょう)に慣(な)れることや、しろの病気(びょうき)の悪化(あっか)もあったので、年(とし)の終(お)わりまでにはポッドキャストを始(はじ)めたかったんですけど、それも無理(むり)でした。 でも、年(とし)明(あ)けには何(なに)が何で(なん　　)も、100(ひゃく)％(ぱーせんと)じゃなくてもいいから、絶対(ぜったい)始(はじ)めようと思(おも)っていました。

Last year, I was first thinking about starting my podcast in October, but because I was busy with moving and Shiro’s sickness, I couldn’t start it after all.

Also after I moved here, because I had situations like getting used to the new environment and Shiro’s sickness getting worse, etc., although I wanted to start the podcast by the end of the year, it was also not possible. But I was thinking about starting it for sure after new year’s day no matter what, even if it’s not 100% ready.

ポッドキャストなんて初(はじ)めてだし、自分(じぶん)の声(こえ)をみんなに聴い(き　)てもらうなんて、ちょっと恥(は)ずかしいなと思(おも)っていたんですけど、何(なん)とか始(はじ)めることができました。

今(いま)は、楽(たの)しくできているし、世界中(せかいじゅう)の色(いろ)んな人(ひと)たちと話(はな)すこともできるし、始(はじ)めて本当(ほんとう)に良(よ)かったと思(おも)っています。みなさん、ちょっと歳(とし)を取(と)っていても、何で(なん　　)も興味(きょうみ)があれば始(はじ)められますよ。歳(とし)は関係(かんけい)ないですよ。

It was my first time doing a podcast, and (I was also thinking that) I also felt a little shy about my voice being heard by people, but I was able to start it somehow.

(But) now I am enjoying doing it and also can talk to various people in many countries, so I am thinking it was very good that I started it. Everyone, even if you are a little older, you can start anything, if you are interested. Age doesn’t matter.
